J. Derry is Canadian born, and has been making art since he was able to hold a pencil. Working mostly with paints, pen and ink, while dabbling in digital mediums, Jason’s work takes influences from his long held interests growing up in Central Ontario. Taking from his passions of fishing and the outdoors, as well as his fondness of comic books, video games, and Cartoons, he creates work that tends to capture the fleeting memories of childhood and of our natural surroundings. In short, Jason’s work is about things we don’t remember.
